Handmade Quince Sweet, Traditional Fruit Preserve
Quince has been loved all over Greece since ancient years and is also known as the "golden apple", a symbol of love. An autumn fruit, crispy and deliciously sweet that everyone loves, and nobody makes it better than Idiston, our traditional food artisan from Peloponnese. Idiston is a family-run business full of love and passion for traditional recipes of natural fruit preserves. This delicious quince spoon sweet is produced with the use of traditional methods and it is conserved thanks to homemade syrup, consisting purely of sugar and water, without the addition of any colourants, preservatives, artificial ingredients or glucose syrup.
Quince flesh is cut into small pieces, full of luxurious flavour and with a beautiful bronze red colour that make you going back for more and more! This delicious natural treat is traditionally eaten by itself, but it's a perfect match to yoghurt, ice cream, cheesecakes, pavlovas, breads or any baking one can imagine! Guaranteed to please anyone who tries it!
Perfect for our vegan friends, and also makes a great gourmet gift for the cooks and foodies in your life!
