Organic Premium extra virgin olive oil Ladi Biosas, a masterpiece from whichever angle one sees it… created organically and by hand, with love, passion, expertise and attention to the finest details at every stage of the process. Nikolaides family’s organic olive groves are nestled in the mountainous and untouched parts of Kalamata’s blessed lands in Peloponnese, Greece, and they’ve been part of the family since 1892.

“Ladi” means oil in Greek, and this is a single estate unfiltered monovarietal and organically cultivated ultra-premium extra virgin olive oil made of the regal/king variety of olives, Koroneiki. Every harvest, at an altitude of 600m above sea level amidst junipers, citruses and arbutus trees, the family selects the olives by hand and first cold press them together with organic ripe fresh oranges for 30 minutes at below 26C, which ensures that the organoleptic characteristics remain intact together with its high content of oleic acid and polyphenols that give it superb health benefits and therapeutic properties.

Ladi Biosas Agrumato Orange Pressed is flavoured naturally by the skin and the flesh part of fresh oranges. The result is a delicate, bright, fresh and intensively fruity aroma of Greek oranges which balances harmoniously with the extra virgin olive oil at a very low acidity of 0.2, which brings it to the category of Extrissimo of olive oils. It pairs exceptionally well with fish, seafood, vegetables, bread, meats and salads, perfect for baking and it's ideal for every day use too!

The fine quality of this product doesn’t end there, Ladi Biosas has won numerous design awards for its irresistible Doric style glass bottle, and every single one is signed by Greece’s most famous painter/etcher Takis Katsoulidis who also created the font itself, “λάδι βιώσας”. It's a perfect match for olive oil lovers, and the ideal gift for any gourmet foodie!

Did you know that Ladi Biosas is a direct reference to the Epicurean philosophy phrase, “live in obscurity”?
