Organic Vikos Gorge Herbs & Wildflowers Greek honey is like nothing you have ever tasted before. This Greek honey is from one of the deepest gorges in the world, Vikos Gorge, (Epirus, Northwestern Greece—one of the most remote parts of Greece) in a Geopark with 1,700+ plant species and subspecies (many of them are unique and medicinal herbs & wild flowers). Our bees collect the nectar of this natural treasure and make a honey with a totally different taste, colour and aroma each year; feeding only on what is best each year!
It is not a coincidence that in this place, for many years (since 17th century), “vikos doctors” (vikogiatri, βικογιατροί - "old style" naturopaths/doctors), as they used to call them, were collecting all their medicinal herbs here. Herbs from this area collected by those herbalists were used to treat a number of ailments and were especially popular in the 18th & 19th century. So, anyone can imagine that these bees collect the nectar and the pollen, the “soul” of all this medicinal herbal treasure every day.
Vikos Gorge Herbs and Wild Flowers Organic Honey is a limited production honey that is highly aromatic, harvested from rare wild herbs and includes, mountain tea, sage and mint. This organic, unfiltered honey offers a distinct floral taste, often with a refreshing minty finish, praised for its quality and medicinal properties.
The essential honey for the Mediterranean diet and is perfect for teas, yogurts, cheeses, grilled figs, cooking, marinating meats and of course just on fresh bread!

We currently only ship to Australia, however we will be expanding internationally in the near future.
Our returns policy last 14 days and to be eligible for a return, the item must be unused and in its original packaging with a receipt or proof of purchase.
